What are the key technical features of automatic emulsifiers in pharmaceutical production?

Automatic emulsifiers for pharmaceutical production are designed in accordance with GMP standards, and their key technical features are mainly reflected in the following aspects:

(1)Precise process control

Equipped with high-precision sensors and PLC control system, the shear speed (0-12,000 rpm) can be stepless adjusted, the temperature control accuracy is ±0.5℃, the vacuum degree can be stably maintained at -0.095~-0.098 MPa, and the key parameters such as mixing time and feeding speed can be accurately controlled to ensure the consistency of each batch of products.

(2)Full-process automation

It supports recipe storage (usually 100-500 recipes can be stored), and realizes one-key start of the whole production process. The automatic feeding system is equipped with flow meters and level sensors to avoid manual feeding errors; the automatic discharge system can complete the discharge according to the set program; the integrated CIP cleaning system can automatically complete the cleaning, rinsing and drying of the equipment, without manual disassembly and cleaning.

(3)Excellent emulsification effect

The high-shear rotor-stator assembly (usually made of 316L stainless steel) generates strong shear force, which can reduce the particle size of materials to 1-10 microns, and the emulsion stability is significantly improved. At the same time, the combination of low-speed stirring and high-shear emulsification avoids mixing dead zones and ensures uniform dispersion of materials.

(4)Data traceability and compliance

It has a data logging and storage function, which can automatically collect and record more than 15 key process parameters (such as feeding amount, shear speed, temperature, vacuum degree, cleaning time, etc.). The data can be stored for more than 3 years, supports data export and printing, and meets the GMP requirements for process traceability and regulatory audit.

(5)Safety and environmental protection

Equipped with multiple safety interlocks: when the vacuum degree is insufficient, the shear system will automatically stop; when the temperature exceeds the set range, an alarm will be issued and the heating system will be cut off; when the material level is too low, the feeding system will automatically stop. The equipment is made of food-grade 316L stainless steel, which is corrosion-resistant and easy to clean; the closed production process avoids material pollution and volatile gas emission.
