What are the common faults of automatic emulsifiers and how to solve them?

In the process of using automatic emulsifiers, common faults and corresponding solutions are as follows:

(1)Insufficient shear force, uneven emulsification

Possible causes: The rotor-stator assembly is worn; the shear speed is set too low; the material viscosity is too high. Solution: Check and replace the worn rotor-stator assembly; increase the shear speed appropriately according to the material characteristics; pre-heat the material to reduce its viscosity.

(2)Vacuum degree cannot reach the set value

Possible causes: The tank body is not sealed tightly; the vacuum pump is faulty; there is air leakage in the pipeline. Solution: Check the sealing gasket of the tank cover and replace it if it is damaged; maintain or replace the vacuum pump; check the pipeline connection and tighten the loose parts.

(3)Temperature control is inaccurate

Possible causes: The temperature sensor is inaccurate; the heating/cooling medium circulation is not smooth; the jacket is scaled. Solution: Calibrate or replace the temperature sensor; clean the medium pipeline to ensure unobstructed circulation; descale the jacket regularly with acid cleaning solution.

(4)Automatic feeding system is blocked

Possible causes: The material particle size is too large; the feeding pipeline is scaled; the filter screen is blocked. Solution: Pre-crush the material to reduce the particle size; clean the feeding pipeline and filter screen regularly.

(5)CIP cleaning effect is poor

Possible causes: The cleaning solution concentration is insufficient; the cleaning time and temperature are not up to standard; the spray ball is blocked. Solution: Adjust the concentration of cleaning solution; optimize the cleaning parameters (time, temperature); clean the spray ball to ensure uniform spray.
It should be noted that when a fault occurs, the equipment should be stopped immediately, and the power supply and air source should be cut off. After troubleshooting, the equipment can be restarted. For major faults, professional after-sales personnel should be contacted for handling, and the fault and handling process should be recorded in detail.
