What safety precautions should be followed when operating a vacuum lifting emulsifier?

Operating a vacuum lifting emulsifier requires strict compliance with safety precautions to avoid equipment damage and personal injury. The key precautions are as follows:
  • Airtightness Check: Before starting the vacuum system, must confirm that the tank cover is tightly sealed and there is no air leakage. Do not open the tank cover during the vacuum operation to prevent air from rushing into the tank and causing material splashing or equipment vibration.
  • Vacuum Release: After processing, must release the vacuum in the tank slowly. Do not open the discharge valve or tank cover immediately, otherwise, the sudden entry of air may cause safety hazards such as material splashing.
  • Speed and Lifting Control: When starting the emulsification head, adjust the speed from low to high gradually, and avoid starting at high speed directly, which may cause excessive load on the motor and damage the equipment. The lifting speed of the emulsification head should be stable, and it is not allowed to adjust the lifting stroke beyond the specified range.
  • Temperature Control: During the heating process, strictly monitor the material temperature and do not exceed the maximum temperature limit of the equipment and materials. When cooling, avoid rapid temperature changes, which may cause damage to the tank due to thermal expansion and contraction.
  • Material Compatibility: Ensure that the materials processed are compatible with the equipment materials (316L stainless steel). Do not process corrosive, flammable, or explosive materials without special modification of the equipment, to avoid equipment corrosion or safety accidents.
  • Personal Protection: Operators must wear personal protective equipment (such as gloves, goggles, and work clothes) during operation. Do not approach the rotating parts (emulsification head, stirrer) of the equipment to avoid personal injury.
  • Emergency Handling: The equipment should be equipped with emergency stop buttons. In case of abnormal conditions (such as excessive vibration, abnormal noise, material leakage, etc.), immediately press the emergency stop button to stop all operations, and deal with the problem after the equipment is completely shut down and the vacuum is released.
